Powerful software for reverse engineering

Scan a part in ZEISS INSPECT or other software and import the STL or PLY data and ASCII formats into ZEISS REVERSE ENGINEERING. In just a few guided steps, a highly accurate CAD model is created, which you can export in common formats such as IGES, STEP or SAT.

 

What you can expect

 

System independence

It doesn't matter whether you generate your STL data with a scanner, CT machine/computed tomography or coordinate measuring machine. The measurement data from any measuring device can be imported into ZEISS REVERSE ENGINEERING.


High precision

Import any number of raw points from your scan data - there are no restrictions. This creates CAD surfaces with maximum accuracy.

Extensive functions

Edit your measurement data with practical features for STL data, such as filling holes or smoothing surfaces. You can then merge the created CAD surfaces, intersect them, add chamfers or radii, use Boolean operations and volume functions (extrusion, lofting, sweeping). The result: a watertight CAD model/solid.
