Drive solutions at an airport trade fair?

At first, it seems a little surprising to find Dunkermotoren among the exhibitors at PTE. However, the drive technology manufacturer's products have been used in various airport automation applications for years. For example, in various access systems and personnel interlocks that regulate passenger traffic and only grant authorized persons access to the boarding area and other secure areas. With the publication of EN17352 in 2022, standards for requirements and test methods for power-operated access control devices were defined for the first time. Dunkermotoren's drive solutions already fully comply with this standard and can therefore help manufacturers of such products to meet the new requirements.

in addition to access control systems, the individually configurable complete drives also offer a wide range of applications in the area of baggage handling. Dunkermotoren drive solutions are used to transport baggage from check-in, through short-term storage in an Early Baggage System (EBS), to distribution after landing.
